Michael was employed by Richard H. Kraft Engineering, Inc. in 1977. He became majority
owner and incorporated the new firm, now known as Kraft Engineering and Surveying, Inc.
in 2006. Michael has over 30 years of extensive experience as a Project Engineer and
Project Manager for the design and construction of various types of Civil Engineering
Projects including roads, bridges, drainage, sidewalks, sanitary sewer collection, water
distribution, parking lots, residential and commercial land development, recreational
facilities, and landscaping.
Richard H. Kraft, P.E. & P.S.
Vice President/Consulting Engineer/Director of Marketing
Richard founded the firm in 1958. In 1968, the firm was incorporated as Richard H. Kraft
Engineering, Inc. Richard has 50 years of experience as Managing Engineer. He has
overseen hundreds of projects including highway bridges, public utilities, environmental
engineering, storm water drainage, urban planning, construction engineering and
surveying, and land development for governmental agencies and private enterprise.
Timothy L. O’Dell

Construction Manager
Tim graduated from Ferris State College in 1983 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in
Construction Management and an AAS in Construction Engineering. He has 11 years of
previous experience working at another engineering firm. During that time, Tim was
involved in design and/or construction of over fifty bridges in central/southwestern
Michigan. Tim joined Kraft Engineering in 1994, and was again involved in the design
and/or construction of five bridges and more than fifty miles of road reconstruction. In 2003,
he was promoted to Construction Manager and became part owner of Kraft Engineering in
2006.
David J. Kenney, P.S.
Survey Department Manager
Dave spent twelve years working for other surveying and engineering firms, including four
years in Texas. He joined Kraft Engineering in 1990 as a Survey Crew Chief. Dave has
extensive experience in ALTA/ACSM Land Title Surveys, topographical surveys and
construction staking. In 2003, he became the Survey Department Manager at Kraft
Engineering and oversees all survey work from start to finish.
